Selenite is a very spiritual stone and has a protective and insightful effect. It is a good stone to carry with you when you are spiritually engaged. CARE

Selenite cannot be cleaned by holding the stone under running water. The stone dissolves when it comes into contact with water. Selenite also does not require frequent cleaning and charging due to its self-cleaning properties. This allows the stone to also be used to clean and charge other gems. Still, it is a good idea to put selenite in the moonlight every now and then so that it can do its job optimally.
